Education Featured

The future of South Africa lies in the hands of its youth, but many of these young people never reach their goals and dreams due to a lack of quality education and less than desirable home conditions. These kids are craving love and attention and have a hunger to learn and they need you to inspire them and help them realise their full potential.

Most of the children you would encounter on our Education Programme come from poor backgrounds and have to travel to and from school without any adult supervision. Some of their parents work all day and night to provide for them and therefore they do not receive any attention at home. This makes for what seems to be a very unruly child, but really he or she is just crying out for help. Classrooms are too large for one teacher to control alone and individual time spent with learners is next to impossible.

If you decide to embark on this life changing experience, you will be required to assist the teachers in the classrooms, support troubled kids and most of all give them love and hope for the future. You do NOT need to be a teacher to apply for this programme. A teaching background would benefit you, but all we ask is that you be young at heart and have a passion for children.

You will get the opportunity to really make a difference in your school by getting involved in school activities and implementing your ideas, whether it be a sports day or an after school art club. You will gain the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve changed lives!! Apply today and make dreams come true.
